We went on a fishing trip up American Fork Canyon and didn't even get a nibble but the kids had lots of fun. Kolby learned how to cast. Shelby made a new friend with an older boy fishing next to us and Cooper got as dirty and wet as possible!
Chase was just glad to be out of his car seat!
After the fishing was done we stopped and had a picnic.
What a wild bunch!!
Nap time at the Bradshaw's
MMM, now its snack time!
To my surprise when I went to wash the kids hair the shampoo was all gone. I guess this is what happens when you let the kids take baths unattended in a jetted tub! Oh well, looks fun doesn't it!
The beautician's turn to get her hair done! Ouch!
Pretty huh?
First day of School. Kolby is so excited to be going to first grade. We forgot to talk about where I would pick him up from school so I decided to go a little early to get him. We went to his room but the class was already let out so we hurried back to the car just in time to see Kolby snooping around trying to decide if it was really his car or not. I played a little game with him and with the car remote opened the sliding door, he started looking all around and once he spotted us he laughed! I said "I am so sorry I forgot to talk to you about where to meet." Kolby then said, "it's ok mom, I had faith in you!" I said "thanks bud, how was your day, tell me all about it." He didn't say anything about his class, he just said, "school lunch was awesome!" He said how he got to try some of both of the choices they give you for lunch. I asked him how he did that, he was only supposed to get one. He said that he sat by his friend Issac who got one lunch and Kolby got the other and then they went "halfsies."
Shelby's first day of pre-school! She goes three days a week for two hours to Teacher Wendy's. She loves it and now after much hard work with Mom, can write her first name. Her favorite thing about school is spending time with her friends and show and tell.
Cooper does a playgroup every Wednesday for an hour and he thinks he is going to school too, or as he calls it "going to work!"
Mom and the older kids at Thanksgiving Point gardens and waterfall.
Casey got to go on a fun trip to Dallas to go see BYU play Oklahoma. He loves the Dallas Cowboys so this was a great opportunity for him to see his favorite college team play in his favorite pre teams brand new billion dollar stadium. I told him when he got home that he should have just stayed home because with the 60 yard long TV at the stadium thats all he probably watched anyway. Know one gave the Cougars a chance, but they actually pulled out a win over the then 3rd ranked Oklahoma team.
Our last camping trip of the year, playing in the tree. The kids called it their tree house. We started off the year camping up Diamond Fork canyon and we ended it there too.
Fun day out at Wheeler Farm with some neighbors.
Chase posing for the camera!!
What a handsome devil!
Dad and the kids going to Lowes to build together. This has become a favorite activity for everyone!
Kolby's Halloween parade at school.
Shelby and Cooper's Halloween parade at home.
Cooper thought he was Batman, but he was actually Robin. Kolby/Batman's sidekick and partner in crime even at Halloween.
The whole family on Halloween heading out to go trick or treating. Kolby was batman, Cooper was Robin, Shelby was Bell and Dad was the Beast (he really didn't need to dress up too much). Chase was a mouse and Mom was a vampire. Pretty scary huh!!
